today we sat for 2.5hrs at vivo rooftop just talking and gossiping and singing and listening to christmas songs and relaxing and staring at the sky and slacking and resting and enjoying the sun and feeling the breeze and getting into the resort mood.
let me tell you! the sky never looked as beautiful as it did today!

okay this is bad i'm in an alevels-is-over mood even though there's still 4 more papers left.
i've been slacking far too much this weekend! yesterday night was spent watching the planes take off, eating lobster porridge, celebrating my mother's birthday.
tonight was spent strolling around the pasar malam, going crazy over pooh stickers and wrapping papers with my cousin, and posing for stupid photos with a yellow ranger mask (!!).
and not to mention the many hours of tv i've been watching! i've recently rekindled my love for doraemon!
i have no case study for economic geog! besides those uk thing in the notes. and my agriculture knowledge is practically non-existent.

maths down, physical geog down! econs and human geog next week!
i'm still hoping for a C in maths, even though my p1 was quite bad but.. NO MORE MATHS!!! i'll always remember from now on that the volume of a cone is 1/3 pi r^2h and not 2/3 pi r^2h.
phys geog was... ?? plate tectonics came out as a FULL essay even though it came out last year for a 16m question and i can't believe i spent 10mins trying to decide between atmosphere and platetec (and finally deciding on platetec in the end). atmosphere was on my very-much-dreaded weather systems of jetstreams/rossbywaves! why no paleoclimate or elnino!!
but plate tec was huhhuhhuh?! how important is an understanding of plate tectonics in explaining the nature and distribution of volcanoes? (??????!!)
okay study break for now and ON TO DEINDUSTRIALIZATION GENTRIFICATION URBAN DEVELOPMENT CORP AND TUNISIA/HAWAII/VENICE tomorrow!! at least i enjoy studying tourism geog! haha exciting stuff. i feel like going on a holidayyyyy! after a's okay okay!

two down, seven more to go, 12 more days!
i thought gp paper 2 was quite hard. the summary was weird and i didn't know what to write for aq. and i did women's rights for paper 1, which was what i did for bt1 and i didn't score very well for it.
after gp was off to kenny rogers for lunch with oon! we saved $13+++ and only paid for 1 set all thanks to a tiny piece of metal! 3+hours of maths at bk, followed dinner of beef sukiyaki! oon was celebrating the end of his exams. because he is too smart and doesn't need to worry about his other subjects anymore! okayyyy.
i don't know how to answer the past year a'levels geog essays. i have no idea how a sand sea is formed. i don't like hydrology (and i didn't really study it), i don't like rocks and landforms, so the only topic i'll do will probably be atmosphere. please, nothing about the weather systems of mid-latitude jet streams/rossby waves and the causes of climate changes cos i have no idea how to explain the Milankotvitch cycles.

so anyway i'm now dead cos i only studied a grand total of one and a half hours these two days.
i took a looooong walk home cos the bus felt so claustrophobic. my gums hurt and my head is throbbing again.
but YAY i had a rather fun day! hello oon i hope you enjoyed the treasure hunt yesterday HAHA! okay back to studying tomorrow!

i think thomas robert malthus is one strange and stubborn man. even karl marx's idea that population growth is a symptom of poverty makes more sense than malthus's stubborn view that population growth will always surpass food production (which is untrue). but i suppose i'm more boserupian than anything. necessity is the mother of all inventions!
i've been looking at things rather blindingly-centred-fuzzy-edged the past 4 days. i wish this headache/dizziness/giddiness would go away.

i know i should be studying after these three/four days of break. but heyy there are so many things to update about. so just a quick update.
wednesday! last pe lesson where we played soccer, we girls against 4 guys! super amusing! we won in the end, of course! then queueing up for $2 (which ended up being $1 in the end. haha dawn!!) ben and jerry's in school!
thursday! farewell assembly! not very sad. not very sentimental. went around taking a dizzying amount of photos! my faourite! haha after which ten of us went off to esplanade for thai express and errr stoning session at marina square.
class gathering at marina bay steamboat! JOLINE IS MY FAVOURITE PRAWN PEELER!!! haha jumping prawns and splattering oil! after joline went off, dawn liwen and i went off to the field and conducted our very own concert. FUNFUNFUN! we should have done that muchmuch earlier! singing loudly in the dark, laughing at the silliest things! and please let me tell you that liwen is a hidden ahlian HAHAHA. hor hor dawniez?!
friday! studying session at my house with yunru oon and zy! although the only studying i did was to read 6.5 lectures of population geog. the rest of the time was spent playing cards, looking around friendster, prata-ing at 2, taking retarded photos on the road at 3, more card/drinking games at 4+5 and finally sleeping at 5+! look at yunru's blog for the retarded photos!
okay. need to go off for dinner soon.

i've been slacking in school everyday since monday. i slept/talked/gamed through all my 2/3/4 hours breaks. i'll come back home, eat, slack and watch tv. and oh my goodness do i need to study or what.
anyway, farewell assembly in one week's time! 2 more official school days left.
prelims results are back! BBE. managed to pass maths only after mrs wong rounded up my 43.5 to 45. ahhhh what am i going to do about my maths.
